 This very rural brewery produces a very innovative range of sorts, apart from the traditional ones like Vollbier or Pils. We just tested the traditional sorts, the unfiltered "Ratsbier" and the Emmerbier, made from malt of the ancient emmer cereal (still in consumption, not empty yet :-) The beers are typical central franconian and a little bit sweetish. They're better from the glass than from the bottle. Similar to neighbouring Brauerei Fischer of Wieseth but maybe not as distinctive as their beers.

 Brewery shut down. Beer contract brewed now.
